With more than 15 years' worth of trial work, Mr. Nelson is an experienced and talented litigator. Raised in Houston, Texas, he attended the University of Texas to earn his bachelor’s degree and later pursued his Juris Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin. Upon admission to the Texas Bar, he began working for the Harris County District Attorney’s office, where he worked in Felony, Misdemeanor, Juvenile, and Justice of the Peace courts.

Since leaving the prosecutor’s office over fifteen years ago, Mr. Nelson has been focused on helping clients navigate complex and high-stakes litigation. With victories in matters of the highest consequence, Mr. Nelson has consistently demonstrated his ability to win jury trials with everything on the line.

Mr. Nelson has successfully handled complex litigation on behalf of ordinary people, securing judgments in matters involving medical malpractice, Dram Shop litigation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Intentional Torts.

Mr. Nelson has represented clients in matters throughout Texas, from Lubbock to Cuero, and from San Antonio to El Paso. He specializes in helping clients navigate the complex process from the commencement of litigation through to the verdict. He has a well-earned reputation as a tough trial-ready lawyer.
